Loads of readers mistook us, ACTJ, for Anderson Cooper. Although we’re really flattered (no really), we all know that Anderson Cooper’s only official site is AC360. That’s how it looks like. See below.

Hi and welcome. We're passionate about reporting, journalism and today's many global issues. We also absolutely love CNN's Anderson Cooper reporting style...so this site was born...!
Read and comment about the daily AC360 show, share your very own journalistic adventures and more ! (see menu at top of site). Sorry but we won't talk about Anderson's private life, we only talk about his work, reporting style, journalism and the news.
This site is truly much more than about Anderson Cooper, us or reading the news. It's about the millions of people in the world whose human rights are denied and violated on a daily basis. It's about justice being brought in whether that's here at home or anywhere else in the world.
Not recognizing the immense work that's been achieved by unbiased reporters such as Anderson Cooper who are sold out to awaken and inform people to what's really going on around the world is like ingoring the suffering of millions.
My little catchphrase invented on the fly: "Corruption doesn't need moderation but shutting up"
PS: We are an independent blog and are in no way affiliated with CNN, Anderson Cooper or AC360.
What is written on this blog has not been written by Anderson Cooper unless otherwise specified and if it has it's always been taken from the CNN site as a quote and linking back to AC360. This is what Anderson Cooper's official CNN site looks like. Click on the image below to visit his site now

This is a great website. Everyone else deals with Anderson’s looks and personal life, but to find a site that looks at the news and reporter side is pure gold.
I am a news junkie from way back.

Hi Margaret Anne, welcome to our site and thanks for visiting, glad you like it. Asside from AC360 on CNN, it’s true that most Anderson Cooper sites focus on his looks and speculate to infinity about his sexual identity. Anderson deserves a site that respects his work (outside of CNN) as he is one of the very few modern journalists who is unbiased and totally sold out to bringing the world’s injustice to the forefront. I, myself, am sold out to advocate for international human rights, and that way before I knew of the existence of Anderson.
At the end of the day, it’s always about the people who suffer, more than it is about Anderson, CNN or us. When people do not recognize Anderson’s work (and any other reporter, human rights organizations like HRW or Amnesty, they, at the same time forget about the millions who are suffering out there…

Thanks for the welcome and The News Machine it is about the victims, survivors, etc at the end of the day. I, myself am involved with a group that provides assistance to those affected by disasters after the other groups leave.
This group was down in MS a few days after Katrina and helped a lot of people that the government forgot. I am currently trying to put together a database of news organizations and media outlets where we can put the word out about the group and what they do. I love doing it especially since it seems after the original news cycle dies down no one continues to help.
Anyway keep up the great work.

What you’re doing is really great. Please give us a link or a picture to your group and we will put it up here. We are creating a new page which will have all the different rescue and humanitarian organisations.
I agree with you that people get interested on a particular issue but when the media stops covering it, people lose interest. I think that media alone cannot do all the job, nor can the U.N. it’s for all of us to do something and each should do their part….thanks for sharing !!!
PS: if you want, you can write blog posts here from time to time about the efforts you’ve been doing lately with your groups. Any format you like. Just updates and giving people info.
